| Brazil The Pale-browed Treehunter is a Brazilian endemic found in the Atlantic Rain forest of south east Brazil. It is usually seen searching for insects amongst the leaves of bromeliads. |

| It is rufous brown above with streaking on the head and back. Below it is heavily streaked with brown on buff. The bill is long and straight, it has a pale buff supercilium and the tail is bright cinnamon. There is an illustration in Ridgely & Tudor, Volume 2, Plate 9; and Sick, Plate 27. |
