Napo, Ecuador November 2019 The Olivaceous Siskin is distributed on the eastern slope of the Andes from northern Ecuador to central Bolivia. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found in clearings and forest edges in sub-tropical forest mostly between 1.200 and 3,000 metres. |

It is similar to Hooded Siskin S. magellanicus but is generally duller and more olive below. | |||
