Loreto Road, Ecuador November 2019 The Masked Tanager is distributed in a wide arc around the Amazon Basin. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found at the edges and in the canopy of humid forest where it feeds mostly on fruit but with some arthropods. |

It is similar in appearance to Blue-necked Tanager T cyanicollis but has a paler blue head and a white belly. | |||
