The Mangrove Vireo is distributed on the Pacific coast of Mexico to Costa Rica and on the Caribbean coast from the Yucatan Peninsula to Nicaragua. See the distribution map at NatureServe. It is found in mangroves, scrubby woodland and forest edges.
