| Brazil The Lemon-chested Greenlet is found in south-east Venezuela, the Guianas, along the Amazon River and into Amazonian Peru and Bolivia. There is a disjunct population in south-east Brazil from southern Bahia to Rio de Janeiro. |

| It is found in humid forest and forest edges although the disjunct population in south-east Brazil can also be found in more scrubby habitats. The two striking features of this bird are its white to pale yellow iris and the broad yellow-olive band across its chest. It is bright olive above with a grey nape and chin. The bill is pinkish brown and the legs are pinkish grey. |
