Reserva Arena Blanca, San Martin, Peru October 2018 Hauxwell's Thrush is distributed in western Amazonia in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in humid lowland forest usually near water and normally below 800 metres. |

It is warm brown with a whitish lower belly and
crissum.
John Hauxwell was an English bird collector who apparently used a blow-gun rather than a rifle to collect his specimens. |
