The Glistening-green Tanager is distributed in the foothills of the Andes in Colombia and Ecuador. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in the canopy and borders of cloud forest between 600 and 2,000 metres.

This lovely wee tanager is unmistakable with its green plumage, black wings and a grey and red mark behind the eye.
