Waqánki Lodge, San Martin, Peru October 2018 The Dull-colored Grassquit is distributed from Venezuela through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Boliva to western Paraguay and north-western Argentina. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in fields, gardens, scrub and forest edges between 350 and 3,100 metres. |

It is similar to many female seedeaters but can be distinguished by its more pointed, bicoloured bill. | ||||
