The colour of the dewlap and bare facial skin varies from pale blue to almost white. The white crest reaching further down the nape and the more prominent white wing patch distinguishes it from the Blue-throated Piping-guan P. cumanensis. It feeds on fruits and flowers and is rarely seen on the ground. |
