Ecuador November 2019 The Black-billed Peppershrike is distributed in the Andes of Colombia and Ecuador. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in the forest canopy at between 650 and 2,300 metres. |

It is similar to the more common Rufous-browed Peppershrike C. gujanensis but is duller with a black bill and an olive crown. | |||
