Victoria, Australia February / April 2006 The White-throated Treecreeper is distributed in eastern and south-eastern mainland Australia. It is found in rainforest and wetter eucalypt forest as well as banksia and other, drier scrubland. |

It is dark brown with a contrasting white throat, heavy streaks below with barred undertail coverts. It has no supercilium. The female, seen here in photo 2, has an ochre spot on the neck. | |||
