The Silver Gull is distributed throughout Australia both on the coast and inland. It feeds on a very wide variety of food from fish and carrion to berries, seeds and insects. |

It has a scarlet bill and legs, a white eye, silver-grey upperparts, a white tail and white "windows"
on the primaries.
