Ankarafantsika, Madagascar November 2016 The Madagascar Ground Boa is endemic to the north and west of Madagascar in dry and humid forest up to about 800 metres. It feeds on rodents, bats, lemurs and ducks which it kills by constriction. |

This individual rested under one of the huts where we were staying but came out to lie on the leaf litter where
it was very well camouflaged.
