The Fat-tailed Dwarf Lemur is endemic to Madagascar where it is found in the north, west and south of the island. See the distribution map at IUCN.

Dwarf lemurs are small nocturnal lemurs remarkable in that they go into a hibernation-like torpor during the dry season when they live off the fat stored in their tails.

There is an excellent video on ARKive.
