Many authorities lump it with Red-breasted Wheatear O. bottae but Birdlife International split it on the basis of its darker breast, its smaller and more clear-cut white throat, its pinkish-rufous rather than pinkish-white belly and undertail coverts, its darker grey-brown upperparts and its longer bill. | |||
