The bird in photos 1 to 3 is a juvenile. Compared to an adult it has more extensive white streaking on the head
and more white at the base of the tail. The bird in photo 4 is a female because only females incubate. This nest was about 25 metres from the
ground.
It feeds on chameleons, geckos and large insects. Mainly crepuscular in habit this bird is not often seen. |
