Ethiopia The Grey Wren-warbler is distributed in eastern Africa from Ethiopia and Djibouti to Tanzania. See the distribution map at Birdlife International. It is found in acacia scrub and dry bushland up to about 1,700 metres. It forages for insects inside the bushes close to or on the ground. Its long tail is often cocked and waved. Close up, the speckled throat and faint barring on the belly can be seen.
