Red Admiral Vanessa atalanta | ||||
Suffolk, England Red Admirals are European immigrants that fly from Southern Europe to breed throughout Britain. They can be seen from March to October when they migrate south. The eggs tend to be laid on nettles and the adult can be seen feeding on nectar from buddleia, ivy and also on fallen fruit in the autumn. |
