Reeve's Muntjac is distributed in south-east China but has been introduced into Britain and the Netherlands. Some of these introduced populations have escaped and are now considered a pest in Britain.

Photos 1 to 3 are of females showing a diamond shape on the head while photo 4 is of a male showing a dark V on the forehead and small antlers. They also have obvious canine teeth showing as small tusks. Large scent glands below the eye (best seen in photo 2) are used to mark territories.
