Brazil and Ecuador The Wedge-billed Woodcreeper is distributed from Mexico through Central America and into Colombia and the Amazon and Orinoco Basins. There is a disjunct population near the Bahian coast in Brazil and stretching down to the north of Espírito Santo. See the distribution map at xeno-canto. It is found in humid forest. |

It is the smallest woodcreeper and with its upturned bill it looks a bit like a xenops. It has a thin buffy supercilium and the upperparts are rich brown to cinnamon-rufous. | ||||
